This is a blog of the life and time of Jeremy Tolmie a 30 year old male living with Autism. Every thing posted is out of life's lessons that I have learned over the years, The things that have worked and not worked in regard to what I have go through living with it.

Parent teaching and ASD
the best thing you can do is limit the stimuli that is around him. Work with him in a quiet place with out distractions and one on one make him have to focus on you and talk to him and name items. Only bring one item in at a time and name it over and over again in between talking to him. I had no therapy of any kind growing up but my mom was a stay at home mom till I was 12 and then went to work part time and at 13 started full time.
